Austin is a commercial real estate finance and business development executive with over 15 years of institutional experience across the capital stack, serving as a general partner, limited partner, capital partner, and borrower. He has originated, structured, and closed approximately $6 billion in transactions, spanning 9,000+ residential units and 5.5+ million square feet of commercial and mixed-use projects.

His expertise spans land, development, and income-producing acquisitions, including joint ventures, structured investments, recapitalizations, and both secured and unsecured debt originations. He is also experienced in strategic planning, pipeline and portfolio management, and investor relationship management.

Austin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas (Arl) and a master’s degree from Georgetown University. Originally from Texas he now lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his wife (Lindsey G.), son (George K.), and daughter (Vivian L.).
